Role: BAR/RESTAURANT CASHIER

Our client, in the hospitality industry is looking to recruit a BAR/RESTAURANT CASHIER for a restaurant in Nairobi. The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 3yrs experience.

Responsibilities.
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Redeem stamps and coupons
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Maintaining detailed records of served orders and collected cash
• Balanced daily checks and sales reports

Requirements
• Diploma in accounts or CPA part 1
• Diploma in Hotel management is an added advantage.
• Should have knowledge in XOKO or Micros systems and worked on captain order books
• Computer Literate
• Minimum experience of 3 years
