As a fresher excited about starting my career, I recently encountered a fraudulent company claiming to offer remote roles like Python Developer. Hereโs how they tried to deceive me:

They conducted assessments on a reputable platform and followed up with a Google Meet interview, making everything seem legitimate.
I received a well-designed offer letter that included details like WFH benefits, CTC breakdown, and other allowances, making it look legitimate.
After the offer, they demanded payment for a โmandatory certification course,โ claiming it required working remotely for a U.S.-based company.

After searching on Google and Glassdoor, I found the company website but realized it was designed to look authentic. When I checked on LinkedIn, I found a relatable profile with a small team of members, but nothing matched perfectly.
After thorough research, I discovered that was a fraud. The certification course was a scam, designed to extract money from unsuspecting candidates. They charged a considerable amount and scammed many job seekers this way.

Sophisticated websites
Fake team profiles
Realistic email updates
Convincing offer letters
In my case, the company name was Maxwell Solutions, but I later found out they used different names for other victims.
Iโm sharing this to warn other freshers and job seekers. Stay cautious, and letโs support each other in avoiding such scams."
