FIBER SPLICING TECHNICIAN (ICT SECTOR)- NAIROBI (1 POST)

Our client is a leading Telecommunications and ICT infrastructure company specializing in Fiber Optic Network Deployment, Power Solutions, and Digital Connectivity Services across the East African region.
They are seeking a Graphics Designer & Social Media Marketer to assist the Marketing Team in implementing media and communications plan on a project to project basis in order to create awareness about the firm. The role also involves working with internal and external clients, pitching designs, and understanding client needs and understand an audience and intended message to bring the strategy to life with various graphics designs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform fiber splicing, termination, and OTDR testing for new and existing networks. Maintain high-quality standards in all field installations and repairs. Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing for FTTH, FTTB, and backbone links. Conduct OTDR, VFL, and power meter testing to ensure high-quality signal performance. Install and maintain fiber routes, manholes, ducting, trunking, and structured cabling. Troubleshoot faults, perform repairs, and ensure minimal downtime for clients. Ensure neat, safe, and standardized installations in residential and commercial buildings. Prepare technical reports and update project documentation. Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and other technicians to deliver quality work. Flexible to work in any country in East Africa

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Certificate in Telecommunications Engineering or related field. 2–5 years’ experience in fiber splicing and testing. Hands-on experience with OTDR, Fusion Splicers, and Power Meters. Strong knowledge of OTDR usage, fiber color coding, and PON/FTTH architecture. Ability to work independently and handle tools/equipment confidently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Able to produce quality work with strict deadlines.

Listing the company on social media and ensuring activities in different social media platforms- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, YouTube, etc. Assist in writing informative and effective search engine optimized –SEO copy for the website and external blog postings. FIBER DESIGN ENGINEER (ICT SECTOR)- NAIROBI (2 POSTS)

Our client is a leading Telecommunications and ICT infrastructure company specializing in Fiber Optic Network Deployment, Power Solutions, and Digital Connectivity Services across the East African region.
They are seeking a project manager to support projects being implemented across East Africa. This position will work in conjunction with the Department Heads and overall team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop fiber network designs (FTTH, FTTx, Backbone, Metro) using design tools like AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or QGIS. Prepare as-built documentation and coordinate with construction teams. Conduct field surveys and feasibility studies. Delivery of timely and quality Transmission Solutions on Fiber and GPON technology, plans to be done as per the project schedule with the correct dimensioning of capacity thresholds, availability and reliability. Delivery of resilient FTTH/B Transmission Solutions and plans to meet current, medium and long-term requirements Compilation of Topology maps, schematics, Google earth routes, building entry points & floor plans in GIS formats. Overall Infrastructure resources utilization such as Fibre Materials, Spares, Bandwidths, Fibre Cores, Ducts to be maintained within KPI targets as per standards document. Budget estimation and project prioritization to meet Business needs and CAPEX budget justifications. Review of BOQs against the designs and to the Node (FTTx) Cost reconciliation for projects Flexible to work in any country in East Africa.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 3 years’ experience in fiber network design. Proficiency in GIS and CAD tools. Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong facilitation and presentation skills. Should have strong PC skills. They are seeking a Power Engineer who will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining power systems and equipment. The role involves managing operational processes, coordinating shift teams, ensuring power uptime, and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, install, and maintain power systems supporting telecom and fiber infrastructure. Conduct site power audits, ensure uptime for power backups (solar, generators, UPS). Monitor and maintain electrical safety and compliance standards. Oversee daily operations, ensuring power, cooling, environmental systems, and security are functioning within service level targets. Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems. Supervise maintenance, repair, and replacement activities to ensure equipment integrity and service continuity. Support planning and ex*****on of infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions in coordination with the Power & Mechanical Systems Manager. Act as the primary escalation point for incidents affecting datacenter operations. Oversee incident response, ensuring rapid containment, communication, and service restoration. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering. Minimum 3 years’ experience in telecom power systems. Familiarity with hybrid and solar systems is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of LV switchgear operation and protection, UPS systems, generators, and PLC-based controls. Proven troubleshooting and decision-making abilities in critical infrastructure environments. Experience in critical facilities management. Strong written and oral communication skills.

Our client is a hotel located in Gatundu - Kiambu County and they are looking forward to filling a hotel supervisor role. The ideal candidate will ensure the customer receives the highest quality of services and assisting the operational running of the restaurant and ensure that staff are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide excellent customer service. To maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety. Ensure high standards and efficiency of work. Maintain strict stock and financial control.Ensure all venues open on time and that they are ready for business. Ensure excellent front of house service, allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of venue. Keep staff busy and productive at all times. Ensure staff meet the standards of the bars, addressing and correcting bad practice where need be. Liaise on shift with the Chef to resolve problems and ensure great service. Complete daily paperwork to ensure the safe running of the venues, and for those standards to be monitored and maintained throughout the shift. Pre-empt and actively responding to problems that arise and keeping management up to date. Ensure all venues close on time, end of day jobs completed to a high standard, staff are signed off promptly, all back and front of house areas checked and secured and that venues are in excellent
order for the next day’s service. To actively maintain all areas within your remit, i.e. toilets, smoking area. To clean and maintain all equipment and notify management of any issues. Assist in cash handling procedures as required. Attend all staff meetings. Detailed check of deliveries for accuracy and quality of product. Ensure stock rotation is applied when storing deliveries and that the correct storage method is applied to each product. Help coach and bring staff through. Brief staff at the beginning of shifts and debriefing at the end of shifts. Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times. To understand and actively support all company policies relevant to your role, including Health and Safety Audit.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Hospitality Management or related studies. Minimum of 2 (Two) years previous experience of a restaurant or hotel supervisory role is a MUST HAVE work requirement. Demonstrate experience of delivering excellent customer service. Good communication skills. Ability to work within team and supervise a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure. Able to delegate effectively. High standards of honesty and integrity. Strong personality, “thick skinned” and able to deal calmly and confidently with a diverse range of customers. Outgoing personality, able to build rapport with others quickly.

MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Kes. 30,000
