Personal Assistant to the CEO , KPMG.
The Nairobi office, which serves as the regional coordinating office, is hiring a Personal Assistant to the CEO to strategically support the CEO’s office.

Key roles and responsibilities

Provide strategic coordination between the CEO and the internal and external stakeholders.
Effectively manage complex scheduling of the CEO’s calendar.
Coordinate the CEO’s local and international travel.
Maintain and manage correspondence in a safe and secure manner.
Coordinate CEO’s office events and client meetings.
Provide administrative services for CEO’s office e.g. formatting documents, drafting letters, reports writing and research.
Expense reporting for the CEO’s office.
Assist in the compliance with risk management procedures.
Assist in any other matter incidental to Business Unit Management as may be requested.
Any other duties as may be assigned.
Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:
Diploma in Business Management/Secretarial Course/Business Administration.
Bachelor’s degree in a business related course will be an added advantage.
Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Document Management System (DMS) is an added advantage.
At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Personal attributes:
Good communication (written and verbal), numeracy, presentation and analytical skills.
IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office.
An eye for detail.
Team player while able to work independently.
Excellent coordination and planning skills.

Our client is a financial institution based in Nairobi and they are looking forward to filling a Data Analyst role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports and dashboards and in leveraging the data to provide business solutions.
He/she will support with general data handling requests including the maintenance and improvement of data ingestion and transformation back-end processes.
Competence with Structured Queried Language (SQL) in addition to a strong ability to understand data are critical.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize business intelligence tools to visualize data and create reports for key stakeholders. Exploit Looker Studio to create data visualizations and dashboards on various company KPI’S. Partner with relevant stakeholders to build actionable plans and analysis that address key business questions and inform business strategy through data analysis and statistics. Conduct periodical audits on data quality and continuously review various data sets proactively flagging any omission and/or errors in line with company policies. Recommend changes in data models and structures where necessary. Analyze and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets, using statistical tools, with an aim of promoting effective diagnosis and predictions. Collaborate with relevant teams in identifying data processing improvement opportunities, proposing system modifications and in devising data governance strategies. Support in creating and maintaining back-end data ingestion and transformation processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related studies. At least 4 (Four) years of Data Analysis experience. Proficiency with advanced SQL is a must. Experience with a Business Intelligence tool is a must. Strong Excel and Google Sheets knowledge. Understanding of relational DB theory Understanding of data preparation and data acquisition.

THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
R, Python. Google Cloud solutions with a focus on Big Query. Experience with non-relational DB or Big data. Git, dbt, Airflow.

COMPETENCES AND ATTRIBUTES
Ability to work independently and proactively. Attention to details. Self-starter, target oriented. Team player and good communicator.

MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Ksh. 150,000 - 200,000

Job Purpose:
Responsible for acquisition of insurance business within the assigned region/branch with the objective of growing the overall bank`s profitability through Non funded income generated from Insurance sales commission.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive growth in Banc assurance business across and outside Family bank distribution Channels-through new business acquisition
Ex*****on of day to day Insurance operations at branch level which entails new business development and cross-selling of insurance products, claims administration and documentation
Follow-up on customer insurance policy renewals to ensure desired business retention rations are achieved through timely contact and engagements with respective renewal customer
Develop good working relationships with various bank departments, working closely with branches business teams, relationship managers & Credit officers to generate insurance business and leads through their customers.
Ensure customer inquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures.
Champion Insurance products and all relevant business processes training at the branch level to sensitize branch staff on Banc assurance business.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures in relation to Banc assurance business.
Ensure compliance with the Data Protection laws, policies and procedures of the Bank.
Compliance with AML/CFT laws and ensuring KYC is done for all clients.
Ensure all collaterals and assets that have the Bank`s interest is properly and comprehensively insured and the bank’s interest properly noted.
Ensuring that debt level is managed proactively and maintained minimally, and in line with laid down
Credit policies and underwriting guidelines.

The Person:

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

A holder of university degree from a recognized university in Insurance, Business, Finance or other related field.
Certificate of Proficiency(COP)
Professional qualification in any Insurance related field will also be an added advantage.
At least two years active working experience in direct sales in a Bank assurance environment or Insurance industry.
Exposure to Banc assurance processes and procedures will be an added advantage.

Key Competencies and Attributes:

Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish new client relationships and generate new and Cross sell business.
Full understanding of all products, sound knowledge of the bank processes and procedures
Excellent knowledge of Insurance products, underwriting processes and emerging market/industry trends

Team working skills with ability to deliver and exceed targets
Excellent business development and Client Relationship Management skills.
Exposure to Insurance products in the bank set-up with knowledge of the Bank’s set standards, policies and operating manual, with sound knowledge of bank products.
