🔹 About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Kenyan–Chinese Translator to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate will facilitate clear communication between local teams and Chinese stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism in both written and verbal interactions.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements
- Translate documents, emails, and reports between English/Swahili and Mandarin Chinese
- Support cross-functional teams in communication with Chinese partners and clients
- Ensure translations maintain accuracy, context, and cultural relevance
- Assist in coordinating projects involving Chinese stakeholders

🔹 Requirements
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation (corporate or operational setting preferred)
- Strong understanding of business and professional communication
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Chinese companies or projects in Kenya
- Background in business, operations, or technical translation
- Certification in translation or linguistics (added advantage)
🔹 What We Offer

FARM MANAGER WANTED!!

A farm we consult with us looking for a farm manager. For a Commercial Horticulture Farm (50+ Acres)

Location: Loitoktok, Kenya
Crops: Horticultural Crops such as Garlic, Watermelon, Onions etc.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Roles

- Plan and supervise field operations for horticultural crops.
- Lead and train a team of farm workers with a focus on efficiency, sustainabilityand cost minimisation.
- Monitor input usage, costs, and yields to help develop accurate farm records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and quality standards. Understanding of MRLs is an added advantage.
- Collaborate with input suppliers and buyers and other farm stakeholders.
- Report directly to the farm owner with daily progress updates

Minimum Qualifications

1) Diploma or higher in Horticulture or related field
2) At least 5 years of experience managing a large farm preferably focused on horticulture
3) Proven success with high-value crops.
