Criteria for the Next Japan Job Opportunities "PV Agent" (Influencer)
We are seeking a dynamic and authentic individual to become our "PV Agent Influencer" – a dedicated content creator and influencer who will showcase the realities and opportunities of working in Japan, particularly for foreign talent, to inspire and inform.
A. Essential Criteria:
1. Legally Working in Japan (Verifiable):
Must possess a valid Status of Residence (Visa) that permits work in Japan (e.g., Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services, Skilled Labor, Specified Skilled Worker, Permanent Resident, Spouse of Japanese National, etc.).
Proof of valid Resident Card (在留カード - Zairyu Card) and current visa status will be required.
For students, a valid Student Visa with the "Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted Under the Status of Residence" (資格外活動許可 - Shikakugai-katsudokyoka) is necessary, along with adherence to working hour limits.
2. Must be able to engage in income-generating activities (content creation, brand partnerships) legally under their current visa scope.
3. Genuine Interest in Social Media & Content Creation:
4. Demonstrates a natural enthusiasm for sharing their experiences and insights online.
5. Actively engaged in creating content related to their daily life as a worker in Japan (even if it's currently a hobby).
6. Familiarity with popular social media platforms in Japan (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LINE) and understanding of their unique dynamics.
7. Authentic Storyteller with Engaging Content:
Quality of Content: Produces clear, well-shot (even on a smartphone), and engaging video or photo content. (Japanese audiences appreciate high production quality and aesthetic presentation.)
Relatability: Content should resonate with individuals interested in working in Japan, showcasing both the challenges and rewards authentically.
Subtle & Story-Driven Approach: Understands and can adapt to the Japanese preference for subtle storytelling and genuine recommendations over direct, hard-sell advertising.
Focus on Daily Life: Ability to highlight the practical aspects of working and living in Japan (e.g., commute, office culture, housing, food, leisure, challenges, successes).
8. "Rising Star" Potential (Not yet a Known Influencer):
Currently has a growing, engaged audience, but is not yet a "macro" or "mega" influencer (typically under 100K followers, ideally in the "micro-influencer" range of 10K-100K, or even "nano-influencer" below 10K with high engagement).
9. Possesses clear potential for growth and increasing influence within the "working in Japan" niche.
10. High engagement rate (comments, shares, saves) relative to follower count is highly valued over just a large number of followers, as this indicates a truly connected community.
11. Interested in Long-Term Collaboration & Growth:
Expresses a clear desire to grow their personal brand and influence within the "Japan work" sphere.
Open to consistent, long-term partnerships, not just one-off posts.
Willingness to receive guidance and collaborate on content strategy, while maintaining their authentic voice.
Understands the value of consistent posting and community building.
B. Desired (But Not Strictly Required) Criteria:
1. Good Presentation / Charisma:
While "good physical appearance" can be subjective, we are looking for individuals who are presentable, articulate, and have a positive, approachable demeanor on camera.
2. Ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English is essential for communication with our team.
Basic to conversational Japanese language skills (N3-N2 equivalent or higher) are a significant plus, as it allows for deeper engagement with the local environment and potentially a broader audience within Japan.
Niche Focus/Expertise:
Experience or strong interest in specific industries or job types prevalent in Japan (e.g., IT, hospitality, manufacturing, education) could be a benefit for targeted content.
