March 23, 2026: Adachi Yuki (11), a 6th-grade student at Sonobe Elementary School, was reported missing. His father (37) told police he had driven the boy near the school but later claimed the child never returned home.
Over the following 3 weeks: Police and volunteers conducted a large-scale search in nearby areas, including forests, mountains, and abandoned buildings.
April 13, 2026 (afternoon): Authorities discovered the body of a young boy in a forest about 2 km southwest of the elementary school. It was later confirmed to be Adachi Yuki.
🔍 Autopsy & Investigation Findings:
Time of death: Estimated to be around late March, close to when he was first reported missing.
Condition of the body: No visible stab wounds or major external injuries. However, the body was found lying on its back, without shoes (only wearing socks), raising suspicions of early involvement by someone close.
