There is a deadline for applications.

The deadline for application is three months after the application by mail.
The deadline is different in the city where you live.

In Kitakyushu City, where I live, the deadline is August 31.
Some cities have an earlier closing date.

Please check when the deadline for your city is.

【Yukata】.

The yukata is a traditional Japanese garment worn in summer.

Compared to the kimono, the yukata is very casual.
Once upon a time, people wore it after bathing and went to bed as it was.
I think it is similar to foreign bathrobes.
If you go to an onsen or ryokan (Japanese-style hotel), you can find them.

We often wear yukatas when we go to summer festivals and fireworks shows.
Compared to the kimono, the yukata is easier to wear.
The cloth is also very light, so it is very comfortable.

There are also stores that rent out yukatas to wear when you go out.
Choose your favorite design and enjoy it!

【浴衣（ゆかた）】

浴衣は夏に着る日本の伝統的な衣服です。

着物とくらべて、とてもカジュアルです。
むかしは、お風呂のあとに着て、そのまま寝るという生活でした。
外国のバスローブに近いと思います。
温泉や旅館（日本風のホテル）に行くと置いていますね。

浴衣は、夏のお祭りや花火大会に行くときにもよく着ます。
着物に比べて、かんたんに着ることができます。
布もうすいので、すずしいです。

出かける時に着る浴衣を、レンタルしてくれるお店もあります。
好きなデザインを選んで、楽しみたいですね。
