A breakthrough weekend for Valerio De Gaetano at Round 2 of the Italian ACI Karting Championship in Muro Leccese.🇮🇹

Valerio showed exceptional speed from the very beginning, finishing P3 in qualifying and consistently running at the front throughout the event. In the four qualifying heats he secured a P4, two P10 finishes, and a P20 after a racing contact while fighting for the leading positions.

In the Prefinal, another racing contact compromised his race, resulting in a P14 finish despite having the pace to fight comfortably inside the Top 10.

Starting the Final from P19, Valerio dropped to P22 on the opening lap but delivered an outstanding comeback, gaining position after position and reaching P10. With just two laps remaining, while attempting another overtake, he was hit from behind by another kart and forced out of the race, bringing an end to what had been a spectacular recovery drive.

Despite the final result, Valerio proved he has the speed and determination to compete against some of the most experienced drivers in Italian karting, setting two fastest laps during the Final and impressing everyone throughout the weekend.

🤟🏼A very positive weekend so far at La Conca for Valerio De Gaetano during the Italian Championship round🇮🇹

Valerio has shown strong pace throughout the event, consistently running among the fastest drivers on track. A few racing contacts and some unfortunate situations during the heats prevented us from securing the starting position we felt was within reach, but qualifying for the Final in P18 out of 80 drivers is still an important result🙌🏼

Most importantly, the speed and progress have been there all weekend, and that gives us great confidence for the future. We are proud of the work done by Valerio and the entire team, and we are ready to give our best in the Final.

A big thank you to everyone at Pacitto Racing Team, our partners, and all those supporting us along the way.🩵

A strong start at La Conca🤟🏼🇮🇹👊🏼

In his first-ever race weekend at the demanding La Conca International Circuit, Valerio De Gaetano delivered an outstanding qualifying performance in the Italian OKN Championship.

Valerio secured P3 in his qualifying group, just a few thousandths from pole position, and P9 overall out of more than 80 drivers. An excellent result that highlights both his natural talent and the hard work put in by everyone involved.

A special thanks to Pacitto Racing Team for their professionalism and commitment have been a key part of this result.

This performance is also an encouraging sign for the BTF – From Karting to GT project, developed by Too Fast Academy together with Bedriver Porsche Team. The goal of the program is to guide talented young drivers from karting into GT racing, and results like this reinforce our belief that we have identified a driver with the potential to successfully follow that path.

While we are very happy with today’s result, the work is only halfway done. The qualifying heats are now ahead of us and will determine the starting positions for the final.

The Too Fast Academy team, together with Alberto Di Folco and Lorenzo Petrucci, remains focused and motivated for the next challenge. 🦾🧠🏁

P2 at Vallelunga for Dimitri! 🏆

An outstanding performance from Dimitri, who, on his very first appearance at Vallelunga and his first experience behind the wheel of a TCR car at the circuit, secured an impressive second-place finish, coming within a whisker of victory.

Adapting quickly to a new track and a different racing environment is never easy, but Dimitri demonstrated excellent pace, determination, and racecraft throughout the weekend, delivering a result that highlights his potential and continued development as a driver. Thanks a lot to faro racing and marsiglio canuti!

At Too Fast Academy, we are proud of the work and commitment he has shown and pleased to see it rewarded with such a strong performance.

Congratulations, Dimitri, on a fantastic result. Now it’s time to shift the focus to the start of the main challenge of the season at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, where you will begin your campaign in the McLaren Artura Trophy Europe🦾

Another important step forward for Valerio De Gaetano. 👏🏼🙌🏼🏁

Not every weekend is measured by trophies or podiums. Sometimes, the greatest achievement is the progress made along the way,and this was certainly the case for Valerio De Gaetano.

It was not an easy weekend, but throughout the event Valerio continued to demonstrate encouraging pace, consistently running close to the top ten and showing clear signs of improvement. Unfortunately, a small issue during qualifying forced him to start from the back of the grid, making the challenge even greater.

Despite the setback, Valerio never stopped fighting. Race after race, he worked his way forward through the field, producing strong recovery drives and ultimately securing a 22nd-place finish in the Final, a result that does not fully reflect the pace and effort shown throughout the weekend.

What impressed us most was not only the determination on track, but also the maturity and character he displayed when things were not going perfectly. Learning to stay focused, adapt, and continue working when outright speed is harder to find is a fundamental part of a driver’s development, and Valerio handled the situation with the right mindset.

At Too Fast Academy, we know that these experiences are an essential part of the journey, and we are pleased with the progress he continues to make both as a driver and as a competitor.

Now the focus shifts to the upcoming testing programme at La Conca, where preparations will continue ahead of the next rounds and, potentially, the Italian Championship, where we know the potential is there to achieve strong results.
