Roles& Responsibilities :

Hands on experience on estimation of equipment such as FRP pressure vessel, storage tanks, scrubber columns, reactors, internals, pipe, pipe fittings etc.
Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability.
Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents.
Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that general conditions and requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
To perform design calculation for the equipment such as static pressure vessel, storage tanks, scrubber columns, reactors, pipe, pipe fittings etc.
§ Co-ordination with internal departments such as Design, Purchase, QC, Planning, Production for running order and to solve the issues relevant to orders.
Perform assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gaps.
Proffer suggestions to the Chief Estimator or appropriate authority for contemplated expenditures.
Preparation of material requisition for all equipment.
Checking of estimation with respect to applicable MDS, standards / codes etc.
Attending meetings with clients and vendors.
Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to create and read technical drawings.
Knowledge of chemical plant equipment in industrial plastics like FRP, PP, PPH, HDPE, PVC, CPVC, PFA, ECTFE etc.
Problem solving, creativity and innovation in order to come up with solutions to design problems.
Keep up to date with latest industry practices, standards and product development.
Maintain estimation and critical documents in soft copy & hard copy.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)
Extensive experience with estimation of process plant pressure equipment such as reactors, scrubber columns, pressure vessels etc.
FRP industry knowledge preferable.
Knowledge of AutoCAD (Added advantage)
Willing to travel worldwide for both short and long term assignment.
