Looking for Accounts Executive - Chennai with 2-4 yrs experience
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Process, prepare and extract invoices from ERP system.
- Validate pricing and invoice terms for accuracy against workshop & event circulars / contracts. Reference is available in the Invoice request portal.
- GST Registration to be verified in the portal. Fee structure to be matched with Member / Non-member details to be checked along with discount if any.
- Electronically send invoices and other documents to customers/ upload it in the Invoice request portal.
- Maintain internal files and provide data for reporting.
- Organize associated documents and maintain internal records for audit files.
- Identify, implement, and document process improvements with Operations Manager.
- Meet and exceed service level targets on an individual and team basis.

Just before Covid 19 brought the world to its knees, in July 2019, a group of 16 women entrepreneurs from around the world met for a Leadership Development Program at East West Centre, Hawaii. Over a period of 12 days, we explored social impact of our ventures and what we could pursue with farther reaching effects on people, women, environment or even the social fabric of our respective countries in a positive way. All of us took away projects and plans that we intended to execute over a two year period. Many of us found ourselves in unpredictable terrain with the onset of Covid 19. We all knew that these plans can get delayed but were still a core part of what we wanted to do.

Here is a video by East West Centre to summarize the experience. Sometimes a sabbatical or mid-career program can infuse new ideas and thought into your journey. Its good to be teachable at every point in your life.

The incumbent would be accountable for all Financial Planning/forecast/Analysis Reporting activities, with a strong emphasis on P&L and working capital.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
• Degree in Accounting/Finance is required. MBA is preferred;
• 8+ years of experiences;
• ERP and Onestream (or Hyperion) skills;
• Experience in driving change management, working in fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Self–driven capable of working independently with little or no supervision and take action to resolve problems;
• Ability to think critically about the business, alert, analytical, possess broad business orientation. Exhibit strong curiosity about the business model.
