We are launching a new project, "Thinam oru keerai by Integrated Organic Farming," in Irungalur- Tiruchirappalli, with the collaboration of VOICE Trust.

The project's mission is to convert small-scale farmers from the mono-cropping practices to a multi-cropping system, where we are helping them plant medicinal crops, flowers crops & horticulture crops in their 30-50 cents of land. And creating a sustainable environment to re-generate the extinct bio-diversity.

The ultimate goal of this project is to support small-scale farmers to obtain regular income from the different cropping patterns and produce Chemical-free & fresh greens and vegetables to make a disease-free healthy society.

It was a great opportunity for us to have a discussion with him about the Agronomy and Extension Services officials in the Institute of Agriculture, Kumulur, TNAU to access their support for effective implementation of our projects.

We organized capacity-building training among MGNREGA workers for the effective implementation of Natural Resource Management in our intervention village.

We have created a new system in this panchayat where MGNREGA Leaders have to mobilize all the workers in the field at 9.30 in the morning and have to give their attendance by sending their own picture, before and after initiating work in the same field., in their Whatsapp official group where Panchayat secretary, president, vice president, and members are present.

Through this, we can compare the differences of the same field. And make MGNREGA workers feel empowered for their work.
