Presenting Our Chief Guest Ms. Kathleen Hosie is a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. She joined the U.S. Consulate General Chennai as the Press Officer/Spokesperson in June 2018 after serving in the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., and in U.S. Embassy Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Kathleen received her degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University in 2001 and obtained a Master of Public Policy from UCLA in 2008. Kathleen is married to Foreign Service Officer, David Roberts, with whom she has two daughters. She is an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Kathleen was raised in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Presenting to you with pride the Deputy Secretary General of SRMR MUN 2019, Mr. Jai Ahuja.

Jai is the backbone of the entire Organizing Committee. His suave temperament makes his presence so palpable. Jai has been a part of the Organizing Committee of SRMR MUN, since its inception. He has paved his path into the Secretariat of SRMR MUN 2019 with the utmost candour. His brawny personality makes a robust impact on his team members, he sure does know how to get the work done. A man with utmost humility, who is always making sure that his team is putting forth their laudable effort. His unambiguous visionary makes him a phenomenal leader. His empathetic nature wins our heart and makes him incomparable. He is never out of any gripping ideas to bring to the table and is exceptionally good at strategic planning.

An avid reader, gaming fanatic, fitness freak and a gourmet connoisseur, you can find him jiving to some random tunes. But, in the end, on a muggy day, you’ll find him sleeping or lazing around. He has a heart of mammoth and believes in the saying, work hard and party harder.
His exuberant persona and quirkiness have made every day in the OC a memorable one.

Presenting to you with pride the Director-General of SRMR MUN 2019, Mr Chaitanya Vibhu.

Chaitanya Vibhu has always been a predominant figure of SRMR MUN. Chaitanya has engraved his name in the MUN circuit with sheer diligence and persuasiveness. He has done over 20 MUNs and has been a significant part of the organizing committee, since the maiden edition of SRMR MUN. He possesses enthralling oratory skills, his laconic articulation and astute visionary can leave the room tongue-tied. Be it being a power delegate, a torrid aspiration of gavel hunting, member of the Executive Board, he has got it all covered!

A man with varied interests, this legend serves as the President of many clubs in SRM Ramapuram. He believes that a great leader must find the right balance between foresight, performance and character, we strongly commend on his thought process and say that he sure does tick all those boxes. He has a far-sighted vision with fierce valour and unblemished integrity which makes him plan strategically and catalyze cooperation amongst his team, this is why he is irreplaceable. His inquisitive nature and outspokenness make him the light of the flock, he is someone who always has something substantial to bring to the table.

SRMR MUN has always been one of the best in terms of its hospitality.

Presenting the Under-Secretary General of Hospitality, Mr. Rahul Prakash. Since the inception of SRMR MUN, Rahul has always been a part of the organization committee. Rahul is a man of his words, be it his plausible commitment towards any task or his impregnable administrative skills, he has got it all to pull off a splendid event. He has been a significant member of all our editions and has paved his path in the secretariat with unblemished integrity. His empathetic nature and remarkable people skill makes us believe that hospitality is, in fact, his forte. He commends strongly on the idea of leadership and teamwork being imperative.

A music aficionado, who loves to play the drums. On a clammy day, you can find him jamming to some hardcore metal rock. Still interested in knowing more about him and why we praise him so much? Come find out on the 16th of August.

Presenting the Under-Secretary General of General Administration - Mr. Sanjiev Sundaram.

Sanjiev has an immense passion for defence industries and space exploration. He is a final year mechanical student who aspires to be an entrepreneur and a conceptualist. He has done about 15 MUNs and has marked his presence with an ingenious visionary. His gregarious persona can sure turn heads. On a muggy day, you might find him jamming to some earthy tunes and surfing the web. He strongly believes in not giving up easily and striding along the path of success with the utmost integrity. His nonchalant aura can sure liven up the room. One of his strongest suits is that he can connect with people very easily.

An ardent Ironman fan, who draws inspiration from his combat attitude and his drive towards technology. If you have any issues with administrative work, you know the man you need to be in touch with.
