EXECUTIVE – SHIPPING & DOCUMENTATION DEPARTMENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Follow up for receiving the pre-shipment and post-shipment documents on time
• Examining and approving the pre-shipment and post-shipment documents
• Cross verifying the pre-shipment draft documents as per the Purchase Agreement and Purchase orders (Shipping Calls).
• Highlighting errors and coordination of amendments as well as corrections if any to ensure error-free documents on time.
• Entering Pre - and Final- Advice in the CBX System
• Contacts shipping lines, shipping agents, and/or international freight forwarders for the shipment details which must be passed on to the suppliers.
• Reporting to the office Manager for India and working closely with the Quality department in India and continuous coordination with the shipping department at Hamburg, USA, Australia, and Hong Kong Office.
• Providing information to supervisors in the form of daily updates on the daily trackers, CBX tracker, artwork & aroma tracker, and shipment tracker.
• Regular Coordination and working with the quality department on the supplier certificates as well as the uploading of the relevant information in the CBX System
CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Master’s or Associate degree in International Business, import-export, supply chain, Shipping & merchandising, or any related field of study.
2. Experience in handling pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation such as commercial invoices, packing list, can code list, B/L, GSP, Phyto-Certificates, etc.
3. Experience in handling letters of Credit and international payments.
4. Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international trade documentation (sea and air freight)
5. Experience in the export of food products and/or Non-food products (FMCG)
6. Experience in import documentation is a plus.
7. Fluent in English (verbally and in writing), Hindi, and min. one additional Indian or foreign language a plus
8. Hands-on mentality
9. Willingness to learn and support a growing business
10. Person shall be systematic and confident & strong in figures, data, and details of documentation
