We have an immediate vacancy for Junior Accountant for a leading Contracting Company in Jeddah, KSA. This position requires a proactive individual capable of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance with minimal supervision.
Role: Junior Accountant (Independent Role) - Salary: 3,000 SAR – 3,500 SAR
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain the full set of accounts, including general ledger and journal entries.
2. Record all financial transactions accurately and on schedule.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll support.
5. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
6. Prepare VAT returns and coordinate with external auditors or tax consultants.
7. Monitor expenses, budgets, and financial performance while identifying discrepancies.
8. Maintain thorough documentation for audits and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications: -
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- 3 years of accounting experience (essential for working without senior supervision).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently and take full responsibility for tasks.

- Effective communication skills for reporting to management.
