Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales and preferably in the Data Center & Cloud space (server, storage, data center network, virtualization), at least 2 years focusing on sales experience with global, regional and/or large accounts
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English combined with great listening and presentation skills.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in technology or business from a reputable University. Degree in technical or sales field or relevant experience equivalent to a degree or A Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science/Engineering or related degree preferred, or a combination of education, training, and work experience
Proven experience with technical and commercial knowledge of layer 1/2 transport networks, Internet, MPLS and IPVPN topologies and architectures required
Subject Matter Expert in implementation of network design strategy, network management, project management, technology research, and applicable documentation
Experience in verticals like Public Sector, Research, higher Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Automotive, Finance
Demonstrated sales, hunting, client engagement and business development experience with requisite understanding of relevant markets and market pe*******on strategies
Understanding of financial statements and metrics, including revenue, expense control, and growth relative to market to hold strategic client conversations
Creativity and good judgement skills in selecting tools and methods to solve problems
Excellent motivation skills
Demonstrate excellent empathetic skills and put the value for our clients in the center of actions
Desirable: Vendor Sales certifications from DELL Technologies, Cisco, VMWare, NetApp, Rubrik, Pure Storage and others. Technical network knowledge, especially in technologies like 3-stage and 5-stage CLOS, Data Centre interconnect, eVPN, VxLAN and automation is key.



What You'll Do


In this position, you will be driving the success of our company in selling Data Center & Cloud products and technologies with measurable sales objectives to our customers.
You will be quick to find opportunities, able to handle people and prioritize opportunities, highly capable as a trusted consultant and mentor to salespeople and committed to improving the proficiency of the team.
You will be responsible for developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota and you will plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, and close the business.
Key deliverables: Land Magnetic Assets, Grow Connected Community, Build Strategic Partnerships, Future Proof Ecosystem
Identify, promote and engage all the key SubSea Cable Consortium & Network Operators across India and the region, building a pipeline of qualified Cable Consortia and Network Operators to deploy infrastructure into the client's Data Centre facilities
Working knowledge of the MCIT (Ministry of Communications and Information Technology)/DOT (Department of Telecommunications) regulatory environment for applicable licenses as it pertains to the products and services offered. ISP A/B/C (internet service provider license type A, type B, type C), UL (Universal License), UL VNO (Universal License Virtual Network Operator)
Provides technical expertise and guidance on networking, supporting the India/APAC Sales team in closing opportunities for the Data Centers sites in India
Provide up‐to‐date system and network documentation and inventories to build an overall India Connected Campus networks strategy that outlines options for connecting India to the clients APAC properties across the region and eventually the world
Represent the company at conferences either as a subject matter expert presenter or attendee for intelligence gathering
Have strong customer service skills and people skills to work across all stakeholders, organizations and execute the companies APAC networking strategy.



In this job, you will responsible and driving:


Understand the Total Addressable Market (TAM) for the Data Center & Cloud architecture. Based on the TAM Capture Rate (CR), you contribute to the strategy and ex*****on plan how to address the market opportunity.
Lead architecture plan ex*****on, market development and new product introductions through field team coordination. You effectively communicate and educate our Partner sales teams.
Prepare competitive offers, promotions, and enablement programs cross functionally, with our Business Units and Marketing departments
In a very close interaction with the generalist sales teams, you expand the architecture funnel and help to close opportunities. During the customer engagement, you validate the customer needs and involve Technical Specialists to further explore the opportunity.
Create and maintain strong relationship with the key customer stakeholders in the respective technology buying centers.
Provide the competitive differentiation into existing deals with proper technology and pricing positioning
Focus on the lighthouse accounts and contribute to the creation of successful use cases
Work on partner acceleration plans, own the partner technology education and technology business enablement.
Work closely with Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers on proper technology visibility in the funnel.
Spend significant time on own education – technical, business skills, vertical knowledge and other soft skills.
