The latest hiring data is sending a clear message:

According to the Naukri JobSpeak August 2026 report, white-collar hiring in India grew 14% year-on-year. AI/ML hiring rose 31%, while fresher hiring increased 15%. Healthcare grew 16%, Auto 19%, Insurance 12% and IT 11%.
At the same time, Indiaโs unemployment rate fell to 5% in August 2026, a six-month low, while labour-force participation also increased.
