The sand gets wet as the waves splash down the shore
Like little shards of crystals break against the floor
The aura gets humid as the clouds make their way towards me
Like a dark rumbling gust trying to uproot a newly born tree
As the water drops upon the leaves, there is a feeling of despair
When there is nothing but rocks staring at you with a continuous glare
When the pebbles begin to turn dark as the weather, it gets
Harsh and stormy with the little crabs start to make their tiny steps
I stumble to see whether I could find a shelter in this raging place
But with the rain drops falling against everything, nothing remains the same
The puddles are slippery, the way is dark and the birds are hiding in their nests
Like trying to ace every test that the mighty god tries to take
I don’t know if it is just me but the monsoon isn’t fun anymore
Well how can anything when there is a cyclone rushing into your door
There I see a huge tree, under it I try to hide
And on the barks of it, I see some words inscribed
"Past is past, and maybe life will sometimes turn dark
But remember it’s the light inside of you which will leave the mark"
As the drizzle begins to take over the rain, I come out
And I find a hint of gloominess in everything that is around
Short streams begin to shine at the Sun rises from its den
Trying to illuminate every aspect of life which is hidden
In the dark and are not ready to show up their faces
And secretly, in the wild, try to follow our eradicating traces
Don’t know what to do so I return home but the drizzle still persists
And I try to read a book of two years back which still exists
"So just make the glass shine, brush away the dust
For this life never ends until it really does"
The last rain drop falls against the roof with a shine of sparkle
And I look out the window; a child comes out with his latent chuckle
But the sea stays still like trying to hide a secret
Or maybe just captivated in the vines of an old regret
I try to recall everything I ever heard from the others
And I write it down with a hope that life gets better:
"Glad times, sad times, all are several pictures of life,Never close your heart, for it takes courage to live alive"
