Greetings from Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering and Visual Arts, Mumbai!
We hope this message finds you in good health. We are excited to announce that Quasar is back with more enthusiasm and fervor!
Quasar 3.0 is a 24-hour national level hackathon, which will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, and Sunday, March 9, 2025, where students will showcase their technical skills and knowledge for a prize pool of โน1,25,000. We would like to extend a warm invitation to your students to participate in this marquee event to create impactful projects that will help our communities and societies find engineering and technology solutions to everyday problems. This will help them to understand, learn, and improve their technical skills, also broadening their technology horizon.
The students are expected to choose one of the problem statements from the list of problem statements provided in the attached document. These problem statements are carefully curated to promote creativity and technical expertise in solving real-world problems.

List of Problem Statements: This contains 12 problem statements from which the participants are required to select one statement. Any problem statement other than those listed here is not allowed.

Sample PowerPoint Presentation: Participants are provided with the sample PowerPoint presentation link, and by using this template, participants will have to create a detailed PowerPoint Presentation and upload it on the UnStop dashboard. On the Unstop dashboard, there is an upload button and you can upload the same from Sunday, January 26, 2025 till Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Important Dates:
Round 0 : PPT submission starts from Sunday, January 26, 2025 (UPDATED) (via Unstop).
PPT submission deadline is Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Live presentations will commence from Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
For Round 1 : Online PPT presentation slots will be communicated with you accordingly.
Your 5-minute PowerPoint Presentation will be crucial for selection to participate in the offline Quasar 3.0 event on March 8-9, 2025.
Prize Distribution for Quasar 3.0: Total Prize Pool: *โน1,25,000*
Grand Prizes: 1st Place: โน40,000, 2nd Place: โน30,000, 3rd Place: โน20,000, 4th Place: โน10,000.
Track Winners: Total for 12 problem statement track winners: โน24,000 (โน2,000 each)
Special Surprise Prize: โน1,000 awarded on the day of the hackathon.
