Job Overview

We are looking for a senior, visionary healthcare leader to create and scale up “Rehabilitation Centre”.
Post-Care & Medical Assistance vertical for an established pharmaceutical group (₹2500 Cr+ turnover).
This is a 0-to-1 role, responsible for building the business from scratch and taking full ownership of strategy, ex*****on, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Vertical Creation (From Scratch)
• Design and launch a comprehensive post-hospital care and medical assistance business
• Define service offerings including:
• Post-discharge care
• Home healthcare
• Skilled nursing
• Rehabilitation & physiotherapy
• Chronic and elderly care
• Develop SOPs, clinical protocols, and compliance frameworks

2. Business Strategy & Growth
• Create short-term and long-term business strategies
• Define revenue models, pricing, and scalability plans
• Build a pan-India expansion roadmap

3. Hospital & Healthcare Partnerships
• Establish strategic partnerships with hospitals, doctors, insurance providers, and healthcare ecosystems
• Build strong referral networks

4. Team Building & Leadership
• Hire and lead multidisciplinary teams (medical, operations, nursing, therapy, admin)
• Build senior leadership capability and performance-driven culture

5. Operations & Clinical Governance
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and outcomes
• Drive NABH and regulatory compliance
• Optimize processes, costs, and operational efficiency

6. Stakeholder Management
• Report directly to Owners / MDs with regular MIS and strategic updates
• Act as a key decision-maker in growth, investments, and brand positioning

Candidate Profile (Must Have)
• Medical qualification mandatory (MBBS / MD / MS / equivalent)
• 15–20+ years of leadership experience in:
• Post-hospital care
• Home healthcare
• Rehabilitation
• Hospitals / healthcare services
• Proven experience in building and scaling healthcare businesses
• Strong understanding of clinical operations, compliance, and healthcare regulations
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and ex*****on skills

Preferred Background
• Experience with organizations like HCAH, Sukino, Portea, Apollo Homecare, kites senior care, GeriCare, or similar
• Exposure to insurance-led or continuum-care models

A leading Indian pharmaceutical company (₹2,500 Cr turnover) is launching a Post-Hospital Care / Home Healthcare vertical and is looking for a senior medical professional to lead this business as CEO.

Role Summary

The CEO will be responsible for setting up and scaling the Post-Hospital Care business from scratch, including strategy, operations, clinical governance, partnerships, and P&L ownership. This is a greenfield leadership role within an established pharma organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end setup and growth of the Post-Hospital Care business
Define business strategy, service offerings, and go-to-market plan
Establish strong clinical governance, SOPs, and quality standards
Build and lead multidisciplinary teams (clinical, operations, sales)
Drive partnerships with hospitals, doctors, insurers, and institutions
Own full P&L, budgeting, and profitability
Work closely with Board and corporate leadership

Candidate Profile

MBBS mandatory (MD/MS/DM preferred)
18+ years of experience in healthcare leadership
Strong exposure to home healthcare, hospital operations, post-acute or chronic care
Proven experience in launching/scaling a healthcare business or vertical
Strong strategic, operational, and people leadership skills
