Ecommerce – Manager Profile
Job Description:
To achieve the company eCommerce Sales Targets both on Companys own Website and ECommerce Marketplaces including Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Jabong, TataCliq and others.
Company Website & E-Commerce Platform
• Create and execute compelling Web and digital content, digital media initiatives, execute electronic campaigns, ensure online brand continuity and integrate the use of websites, emails, electronic newsletters and multiple social media platforms into marketing strategies.
• Update and maintain websites and blogs, including posting new content and editing existing pages with copy, graphics, multimedia, social media, etc.
• Manage the Companys own E-Commerce Site and Handle Backend E-Commerce sites Platforms are Shopify & Unicommerce.
• Analyze information and improve customer online shopping experience (images, taxonomy, search, navigation, etc.)
• Ensure that all content from multiple sources (including case studies, news releases, articles brochures, product fact sheets) are considered and optimized for web strategies.
• Create and execute a yearly calendar (with reviews, discussions and market insights) to ensure that the website remain up-to-date
• Work with others in the organization to learn and get feedback about strategies
E-Commerce Marketplace
• Manage listing, reporting and optimization of products within Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong, TataCliq and all other Ecommerce Marketplace Channels.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of content in all listings
• Find or take photos of new Products, crop, edit and optimise for each marketplace
• Monitor tracking data through selling platforms tools and identify ways to optimise listings to increase sales
• Update inventory & shipping on daily basis.
Traffic & SEO
• Implement and manage Web analytics using Google Analytics, and other analytics tools; create Web and email analytics reports on an ongoing basis.
• Leverage social media to generate Web traffic and awareness, and meet other business and marketing objectives.
• Coordinate and liaise with the stakeholders including the Subject Matters Experts, and Offer Management teams to compile and track an online editorial calendar of content for online publishing
• Understand and develop web-specific content, and ensure that SEO/SEM strategies are implemented in the copy and framework to provide maximum search visibility
• Understand and develop sources of traffic (& the factors that influence it): email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social media, catalogues etc
• Liaise with agencies or in-house teams to implement and support campaigns
• Design and code email blasts; utilize email marketing platforms to manage and execute email marketing campaigns; manage email distribution lists; ensure email marketing best practice compliance.
• Investigate, evaluate and assess new ways of generating additional traffic / online orders
• Produce reports to analyze the performance of all online marketing campaigns and promotions (via reports, analytics, surveys etc)
• Work with the marketing teams to develop, maintain, and enhance web sites purchasing processes including tools to improve front-end website functionality.
Desired Candidate Profile
• The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who is passionate about achieving E Commerce sales targets
• 4 to 7 years of Consumer Product E Commerce experience
• Experience with digital workflows, deliverables and principles of Web and email usability, architecture, search and interfaces; Web and email marketing best practices and other functions related to Web marketing and communications.
• High level of attention to detail and a high desire to develop engaging online digital content and experiences.
• Knowledgeable in web trends, SEO/SEM and proactive in identifying opportunities for increased brand exposure
• Understanding of the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (PPC, email marketing, link generation, online PR, SEO, offline marketing and PR, affiliate programs, etc.)
