We know how it feels, guys!
But but but! Have you ever wondered what made them do so? Ahh, we know you must have and let us help you join the dots.
1. Spelling and grammar - Hardly 7 seconds they get to go through your resume and if usme bhi they see grammatical and spelling errors, TAUBA TAUBA TAUBA, HUGE TURN-OFF!
Make sure to keep your Resumes error-free.
2. Resume looks like a novel - Resume should be clean, concise, and easy to understand. Not a lengthy novel that puts the reader to sleep.
3. Too much personal information - You are applying for a job, not Rishta!!
The recruiter doesn’t want to know which dance form you are good at or what dishes you can cook. Professional details only!
4. Fonts, colours, formatting - Whoever said 'Looks don't matter' is the biggest liar of the century!
Everything matters, especially these three things. Ensure that you use professional fonts such as Times New Roman, Calibri, Arial, Georgia, and Helvetica to make your resume look impressive.
As for colours, solid ones would be the best choice. Avoid using colours like pink, lilac, lavender, and pistachio green.
Remember, your resume is meant to be sent to the recruiter, not uploaded on Pinterest!
