Type of employment: Full-time
Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
Reporting to: Head of the department - IT
Working Hours: 09:00 am to 06:00 pm (Lunch Break 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm)
Working Days: Monday to Friday. All Saturdays and Sundays are Off
Academic Qualification: Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or related degree
Gender: Male only
Age: 20 to 30 years
Candidate Residing: Preferably staying in Andheri or nearby (but not mandatory)
Job Description:
- Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
- Develop processes for optimizing database security.
- Set and maintain database standards.
- Manage database access.
- Performance tuning of database systems.
- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.
- Be available for on-call support as needed.
- Experience in Information Security Management and strong Fundamental knowledge and understanding of IT Security products like Firewall, IDS / IPS, SIEM, and Anti-Malware.
- Coordinate all relevant IT control activities (e.g., regulatory inspections and assessments, control testing, monitoring, reporting and remediation activities)
- Working knowledge of network security and application vulnerabilities, Mobile operating systems, applications and security protocols.
- Familiar with Linux / Apache web server, Microsoft SQL Server, Standards and Frameworks including NIST, ITIL, COBIT, ISO.
- Perform the security assessment on web applications, network devices, and servers.
Skills required: Deep understanding of SQL and SQL Server tools along with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, PHP, and jQuery (depending upon project need) along with AWS experience
PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
Advanced knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery and performance monitoring standards
Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
Direct work in applications that serve large numbers of users along with handling secure information
Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
Evidence of self-motivation and creativity – we’d like to see your GitHub / Bitbucket portfolio
A track record of projects completed on deadline
