URGENT REQUIREMENT - PROJECT ENGINEER for American Subsidiary Company at Kolhapur

The project Engineer is responsible for the coordination of all departments/individuals involved in a project and attends a project from inquiry to final acceptance.He is the connecting link to the customer and is responsible for the project in terms of cost and schedule.
Job Profile
- Clarification of the basic technical requirements with the customer (machine/system functions;what does the customer need?)
-Transformation of the customer’s requirements into an optimum design plan in cooperation with
Mechanical Design.
- Examination of the technical dimensions in consultation with M & E Design to establish “feasibility
“in terms of technology and scheduling.
- Discussion of ideas with the customer and, where necessary, adjustment of plans in consultation
with the customer.
- Preparation of quotations for special-purpose machines and systems based on design plans in
cooperation with the M & E designers
- Transmission of customer-specific requirements (specifications / technical details) to the technical
departments in charge of planning, manufacturing, and assembly
- Continuous coordination and monitoring of scheduled dates in cooperation with the departments
in charge of design, process planning, manufacturing, and assembly
- Entry and cost assessment of changes requested by the customer. Preparation of revised
quotations
- Incorporation of cost-relevant changes necessary due to technical reasons (in deviation from the
design plan) and updating of costs
- Technical and administrative supervision of projects and accurate management of all documents
and quality records in connection with a project
- Construction site management including, where necessary, supervision and inspection of
customer’s construction sites, if necessary, together with designers, partner companies and
suppliers as required
- Determination and supervision of shipping modalities.
- Participation on the preparation of technical documentation
- Ability to work in a team in a self-responsible and result-oriented manner
Requirement
- Graduate Engineer
- Five years of practical experience in:
- technical sales and estimation of cost of machines/systems
- in the mechanical design of machines
- in process planning (machine construction industry)
system Engineering
knowledge in:
o handling CAD systems,
o cost estimation,
o MS Office,
o English language knowledge
Independent working style, self-responsibility in concept determination, cost/benefit
considerations and preparation of quotations, assertiveness and persuasive power, ability to communicate and open-mindedness
