Urgent: Java Senior Developer/Technical Lead-KOCHI/TVM
Job Description: -
We are looking for a senior developer/tech lead well-versed in Java technologies to join us.
development team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing server side
components using Java and popular frameworks like Spring. You will also be responsible for coding, unit.
testing and improving performance and security of the applications.
A basic understanding of UI technologies will be an added advantage. The candidate should be well.
versed in agile methodology and is expected to follow agile practices within the team.
Primary skill needs
5-8 years of software development experience
Experience in working with at least 2 Enterprise application projects.
Strong in Data Structures, Algorithms and OOPs concepts.
Ability to write clean, coherent code with established coding conventions and do code reviews.
Good experience in at least one Java based enterprise application development technology.
stacks – Java EE or Spring
o Java EE – Servlets, JSP, JPA, JMS, JTA, etc.
o Spring - Spring Core, Spring Transaction, Spring JDBC, Spring MVC, Spring Security,
Spring boot
Knowledge in commonly used Design patterns and principles.
Good understanding of Microservices architecture
Experience in at least one Enterprise DBMS like Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL or PostgreSQL
Experience in developing custom frameworks for application development.
Experience in application profiling and performance tuning
Knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, Dynamo, Redis), and tools used for Build (Maven/Gradle etc.),
CI/CD (Jenkins/Chef), Monitoring (Splunk/Kibana etc.), Versioning (GIT)
Working knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies (scrum, XP)
Key Responsibilities:
• Reviewing application requirements and designs.
• Developing and implementing highly responsive server-side components using Java concepts
• Developing unit test automation and ensure proper unit testing of the developed codes.
• Troubleshooting and debugging application codes.
• Work with the agile team and ensure all agile process are followed
• Ability to play a variety of roles and most importantly take accountability.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with Java 8 or above.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UI frameworks such as React or Angular
Knowledge of containers (Docker/ECS)
Experience NoSQL DBs such as Mongo, Cassandra, Couchbase
Experience in OTA/ Airline reservation domain (GDS’ like Sabre, Amadeus)
Customer interfacing experience
