Few steps to get work done from your subordinates:
1.Clearly Define Tasks and Expectations
- Clearly communicate the task, its objectives, and expected outcomes.
- Ensure the subordinate understands what needs to be done, by when, and to what standard.
2.Set Specific Goals and Deadlines
- Break down large tasks into smaller, manageable chunks.
- Establish specific deadlines for each task or milestone.
- Ensure the subordinate is aware of the deadlines and the consequences of missing them.
3.Provide Necessary Resources and Support
- Ensure the subordinate has the necessary tools, training, and resources to complete the task.
- Offer guidance, mentorship, and support as needed.
4.Establish Open Communication
- Encourage open and transparent communication.
- Regularly check-in with the subordinate to monitor progress, provide feedback, and address concerns.
5.Monitor Progress and Provide Feedback
- Regularly review the subordinate's progress against the set goals and deadlines.
- Provide constructive feedback that is specific, timely, and actionable.
6.Recognize and Reward Good Performance
- Acknowledge and appreciate the subordinate's efforts and achievements.
- Consider recognizing their contributions through rewards, bonuses, or promotions.
7.Address Underperformance
