THE BIG SCAM in 10+2 Lecturer recruitment (English and Zoology)
Firdouse Kouser d/o Khadam Hussain, w/o Saleem Wani (Assistant Professor, English). Sadia Hussain Khan d/o Mohd Razaq r/o Mangal Nar Manjakote — she is the sister of Talat, who is a JKAS officer.
Saleem Wani and Talat approach Naveed Anjum, who was the Chief Accounts Officer in JKPSC, (10+2 Lecturer English) for his wife (Firdose) and his brother-in-law Ahsan-ul-Haq s/o Khadim Hussain
Naveed Anjum arranged their meeting with the paper seller, and both the sister (Firdose Kouser) and brother (Ahsan Ul Haq) got selected as 10+2 lecturers. Both of them paid 45 lakh each for the 10+2 post.
Nakash Raina, who is the husband of Rafia Mir and cousin of Naveed Anjum (who was Chief Accounts Officer in JKPSC), approaches Naveed Anjum for his wife’s 10+2 Lecturer Zoology selection. Naveed Anjum arranges his meeting with some “X” person who sells papers.
Nakash Raina buys the paper and gives it to his wife Rafia Mir. Rafia Mir further distributes that paper to her friends Sahil Bhat and Ahsan-ul-Haq. Rafia Mir also calls other candidates, but many do not trust her.
There are two more candidates — Zahid Hussain (S/o Mubarak Shah) and Sammiksha Sharma (D/o Romesh Kumar). It is alleged that a member of Zahid Hussain’s family is in the Higher Education Department and has influenced the entire process.
Through Naveed Anjum, their contact is made with a paper seller, and the paper is given to Zahid Hussain. It should be noted that in almost all 10+2 Lecturer lists, many of Zahid Hussain’s relatives/cousins are selected, as if the posts were meant for them. Even those family members who only filled the form have been selected.
Zahid Hussain and his cousins belong to Targain, Kotranka. It is observed that in almost every selection list, names of his cousins repeatedly appear. Anyone can verify this by checking the lists. Most of these candidates are from the same address/area and belong to the Shah family, which raises serious concerns.
Similarly, Sammiksha Sharma’s family contacts a paper seller from Poonch, who provides her with the paper.
It is further alleged that during the tenure of Naveed Anjum, his close family members were also beneficiaries of selections. His sister-in-law was selected as Assistant Professor, his brother as Physical Instructor at 10+2 level, while another brother was earlier selected as Assistant Professor but was later removed after issues related to a fake category (PSP) came to light. Subsequently, it is alleged that he managed to secure a position for his brother as Assistant Director in the Forest Department.
This is only the story of Zoology and English in Rajouri–Poonch. In the same way, everyone should openly share what is happening in their districts and divisions. Only when names come out from every district will the full extent of the scam in 10+2 Lecturer be known.
