Position: 1
Salary: 6-7 LPA
Department Ropeway O&M.
Reports to Assistant Manager Ropeway.
Key Responsibilities
• Routine Maintenance: Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery related to ropeway operations.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs or replacement of defective components to minimize downtime.
• Monitoring Equipment Performance: Monitor the performance of electromechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, brakes, control panels, sensors, and drives to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance activities as per schedule to avoid breakdowns and improve system reliability and equipment life.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance procedures and activities adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to operators and O&M teams during normal operations, emergency situations, and shutdowns.
Skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems such as motors, gearboxes, brakes, hydraulic systems, sensors, and control panels.
• Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Ability to read basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Position Requirements
• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electro-Mechanical Engineering or another related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, preferably in ropeway systems.
• Communication: Basic written and verbal communication skills for coordination and reporting.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team and coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operations.
