Empowering Skilled Hands. Strengthening the Plumbing Ecosystem.

On 30 September, WMPSC, in collaboration with Duravit India , conducted a Plumbing Technicians Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Programme in Chennai under the Saksham Initiative.

The programme provided more than 38 plumbing technicians with an opportunity to validate their existing skills, enhance their knowledge and earn formal upskilling certification.

Through initiatives like these, we continue to bridge the gap between industry experience and formal recognition — enabling skilled technicians to grow with confidence and contribute to a stronger, more skilled plumbing ecosystem.

From Swaraj to Jal Swaraj. 💧🇮🇳

Gandhiji’s vision of self-reliant and responsible communities remains deeply relevant today.

A water-secure India needs more than infrastructure — it needs awareness, skills and collective action.

This Gandhi Jayanti, let us honour his ideals by empowering skilled hands, strengthening communities and becoming responsible stewards of every drop.

Building skills. Conserving water. Creating a sustainable future.
