Designation: QA Manager (11+ years)
Role: Lead / Manager
Qualification: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.E., B. Tech, M.C.A or any equivalent graduate / Certifications like CSTE / CSTP / CTM will be an added advantage
Skill Sets: Expert in STLC, Manual and Automation Selenium Web driver, Test Management, UML, Agile, Scrum Process, Release Management
Essential Job Functions:
Defining the testing activities for subordinates testers or test engineers.
All responsibilities of test planning.
Estimate and review QA efforts as part of the overall development effort
Check / Review QA artifacts
Keep track of the new requirements from the Project.
Forecast / Estimate the Project future requirements.
Arrange the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup.
To check if the team has all the necessary resources to execute the testing activities.
To check if testing is going hand in hand with the software development in all phases.
Prepare the status report of testing activities.
Required Interactions with customers.
Updating project manager regularly about the progress of testing activities
Reviewing of test documents
Conduct status meetings for testing team
Check for timely delivery of different milestones.
Formulating back up plans for long term and short term
Additional duties and responsibilities would be allocated as deemed fit by management and business need
Assign task to QA Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
Leave Approvals
Mentoring team members
Appraise Team members during annual performance appraisal process
