Position : VBA Developer
Requirement Summary
- MS Access/Excel VBA developer
- Experienced person who can lead the team of 3 or 4
- Expected to work closely/communicate well with the users in the banks (Non-IT persons)

Job Description – Developer for User Tool Maintenance and Enhancement
Key roles & responsibilities include:
- Responsible to develop programs timely and accurately in the established standard way with quality.
- Responsible to conduct necessary testing as per supervisor’s instructions and produce necessary test proofs.
- Expected to coordinate and assist other project/team mates.
- Responsible for producing SDLC documents if assigned.
- Responsible to report status of development accurately. -
- Responsible for support and trouble-shooting the applications developed
- Responsible to support User Acceptance Test, system implementation and post implementation.
- Responsible to act as a backup for the staffs in the team and take up & perform ad-hoc assignment assigned by the supervisor.
- Responsible to analyze and understand the existing user tool. (Mainly developed with Microsoft ACCESS/EXCEL VBA/Macro. Some are RPA Tools)
- Responsible to co-work with the users and consider/advise/plan how to change the tool according to the data source change. Developer needs to be able to touch the tool on its own if necessary.
- Responsible to lead the developer team. (3-4 developers) This will include but not limited to preparing WBS of the team activities, promoting and checking the team progress based on WBS, report the progress/status to the management team as and when required.
What you should have:
- Degree in Information Technology.
- At least 8 years of experience in system development.
- Developer with experience in Microsoft ACCESS/EXCEL VBA/Macro is must.
- In depth knowledge of PL/SQL programming are necessary.
- Banking Domain knowledge is advantageous
- Business level proficiency is required in English as you are required to communicate, read, and understand documents as well as respond and present.
- UI Path knowledge for RPA tool is advantageous (Not mandatory)
