🚨 We’re Hiring: Cost Manager – Dubai, UAE 🚨
We are looking for an experienced Cost Manager to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate cost advice, cost planning, procurement management, contract administration, and post-contract commercial management for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates across all project stages.
Benchmark costs using historical data and market intelligence.
Advise on procurement strategies, tender documentation, and contract negotiations.
Administer contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC, etc.) and manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
Monitor costs against budgets, evaluate interim payments, and provide cost-saving recommendations.
Identify commercial risks and support value engineering exercises.
Act as the main point of contact for all client cost-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, or related field.
20+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in managerial roles.
Proven experience managing costs for large-scale projects in the GCC.
RICS accreditation or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Strong command of cost planning tools (CostX, Candy, Excel, etc.).
Competencies:
Deep understanding of procurement routes, contract law, and commercial negotiation.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication abilities.
Track record of delivering within tight budgets and commercial constraints.
