Job Description
Designation : Mother Teacher (Grade Nursery to Grade 4)
Reporting to : Coordinator / Vice Principal / Principal
Responsible for
- Align thoughts and action as per school vision and philosophy.
- Adhering to all processes and policies defined in school.
- Understanding and implementing the curriculum lesson plan received from Head Office.
- Providing individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
- Assessing and recording students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Checking of notebooks & homework in timely manner.
- Maintaining a tidy and orderly classroom.
- Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguarding their
health and safety at all times.
- Collaborating with other Teachers, Parents and other stakeholders and participate in regular
meeting / events.
- Planning and executing educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
- Ensuring the safe custody and optimum use of equipment normally used by oneself during
lessons and sees to its regular servicing and maintenance.
- Maintaining all the records required by the school in a classroom
- Updating ERP on daily basis in regards to Attendance, Circulars, Home Work etc.
- Reporting to HO daily basis about implantation of curriculum and challenges.
Skills Required
- Classroom Management: The process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite
disruptive behaviour by students and maintain discipline.
- English Communication Skills: You must be able to speak clearly to students, other teachers,
parents and administration officials in English.
- Instruction Skills: You will have to explain new ideas and unfamiliar concepts with authority and
in a clear and concise way so that students can understand.
- Writing Skills: Is required to write on white board, progress reports, notes home etc.
- Patience: The students you work with will have different backgrounds and abilities. Patience will
help teachers deal with students who act out or have trouble following the material.
- Creativity: Teachers have to find ways to involve students into their lessons.
- People Skills: Engaging parents and creating healthy relationships with students and faculty will
help create a quality learning environment.
- IT Skills: Need to know MS Office to create & send information / reports.
Qualification
- ECCE (From Nursery to Senior Kg.)
- B. Ed from recognized university (From Grade 1 to 4)
Experience
- Relevant Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in International School
- Overall Experience : Minimum 4 years of experience in Education Industry
Salary :
Rs 8000 To 12000 / Month For Pre Primary School Teacher
&
Rs 12000 To 16000 / Month For Primary School Teacher .
