To evaluate unsafe act and unsafe conditions at site and plan for rectification
immediately / time-bound actions
Ensure zero accident / incident at plant
Daily plant visit for health and safety compliance, ensure 100% usage of safety PPEs
All checklists to be filled properly and documented
Ensure reporting of all incidents including near-misses
Participate in Incident Investigation including Root Cause Analysis
CAPA tracking for every incident and follow up till completion of the actions
Ensure proper running of safety infrastructure – fire hydrant system, fire
extinguishers, air extraction system, Online respirator system, ODC, air monitoring,
etc.
Ensure monitoring of all areas with VOC meter and usage of LEL meter for Work
Permits
Submit monthly Patrak, Form V, Water Cess on time
Issuance of Work Permits on daily basis like Hot Work, Height Work, Cold work, etc.
Conduct internal safety audit / inspection of the site every month with EHS Head
To ensure compliance of Basic Safety Rules
To ensure safety training of all employees
Participate in Safety Committee meeting every month
Conduct Daily Toolbox talk for all employees
Impart first aid training on regular basis to ERT members
Ensure housekeeping at site and drive zone owners for maintaining good
housekeeping
