Tendering & Estimation Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tendering & Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of thermal power plant equipment, processes, and maintenance requirements. They will also have experience in tendering, estimation, and cost management for the O&M sector.
Responsibilities
Prepare and manage tender documents, including technical and commercial proposals.
Perform detailed cost estimation for thermal power plant O&M projects.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the successful ex*****on of projects.
Liaise with clients to clarify technical requirements, address queries, and provide technical guidance.
Develop accurate cost models and use historical data to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.
Conduct site visits and assess project requirements to identify potential risks, challenges, and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with O&M management teams to refine and validate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in tendering, estimation, and cost management for thermal power plants in the O&M sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using ERP Software for Tendering & Estimation, project management tools (Primavera & MSP), and Advance Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
