Job Description: Mailroom operations

Position: Mailroom executive, Sr executive & team lead

Purpose: The procedure to be followed by the Mail room operators in managing the inward/outward Mail (Couriers).

• Management of all Inbound

• Management of all Outbound

• Management of all General Postal Services

• Management of concierge services

Inbound Mail - All inbound couriers should be entered in the Trakmail software and have to be delivered to the respective recipients.

Outbound Mail – All outbound couriers should be entered in the “Trakmail” software to dispatch. All dispatched couriers to be tracked end to end until it is delivered to the recipient using courier tracking number.

Mailroom team will be sending Emails, addressing mails, attending calls, sharing daily reports on inbound, outbound and pending couriers, maintain outbound register and MIS reports.

Basically the mailroom operations are to ensure all the couriers received has to be delivered on time and the dispatch all the outbound couriers on time without errors or misplacing the couriers.

Organise and store all the couriers in the pigeon boxes after segregation for easy access

Timings: 1st , 2nd & night shifts, Rotational shifts, 9hrs per day and 6 days working followed by week off.
