HOME CARE GENERAL NURSE – ICU/ICCU/ONCO Experience Must.
Role Objective:
1. To deliver high quality nursing care to all patients at all times.
2. To behave at all times in a professional manner that upholds the reputation of Health Care at Home India.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical
• Pre-operative assistance and preparation for surgery adequate knowledge.
• Receiving the patient from emergency ,who has undergone cardiac problems and settling the patient in ICU
• Securing lines and taking care of endo tracheal tubes and also ventilator management.
• Initial assessment and continues monitoring of the patient, taking care of all lines (central line, arterial line ,cvp line ,chemo port flushing ,etc)
• Medication administration and inotropes infusion if needed.
• Continues ECG and vital signs monitoring.
• Sending blood samples for periodical investigations.
• Blood transfusion and maintaining fluid electrolyte balance.
• Giving general nursing care for maintaining personal hygiene, infection control and giving psychological support.
• Removal of lines according to patient condition.
• Helping the patient to mobilize.
• Explaining the importance of chest physio therapy and teaching postoperative limb exercise.
• Entering the patient data in computer and periodically updating it for carrying out investigation and intending medication.
• Giving effective psychological support, motivation and counselling to the patient. Knowledge to shift the patient to HDU or Ward.
General
• To work at all times as part of the Health Care at Home India team and to promote Health Care at Home India.
• Being considerate of the health, safety and welfare of self and others.
Qualification
• Registered Nurse with GNM or B.Sc (Basic) or B.Sc (Post-Basic)
• To attend and demonstrate learning at company induction and training days
• To maintain own continuous professional development (CPD) and attend courses/study days as agreed with Health Care at Home India in order to fulfil Indian Nursing Council requirements
Experience:
• At least 1+ years qualified experience within an acute care setting/ICU/Medical-Surgical Ward
• Cannulation and phlebotomy skills desirable
• Experience in the care of IV devices and administration of IV therapies.

• Exp – 1 – 3 yrs.
• Salary Budget – 28,000/- to 30,000/-
