This role will help you acquire marketing/Sales/solutioning skills and provide you with
knowledge of various marketing/sales strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in
marketing & sales and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
β Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning
and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other
trade factors.
β Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade
factor.
β Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
β Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
β Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call
reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
β Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing,
products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
β Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and
competitive developments.
β Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions;
preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
β Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in
professional societies.
β Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
β Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
β Help distribute marketing materials
β Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems
(CRM)
β Help organize marketing events
β Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
β Identify local business opportunities and challenges, Present our products and services
to prospective customers, Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
β Work closely with fulfilment and other internal teams to meet individual and group sales
quotas
