Do you also remain stuck with errors for so long that it starts to stretch to your non-work hours as well?

The key to coding efficiently depends on various parameters. Most important are mentioned here:
1. Clarity in Problem Requirements.
2. Breaking the logic to build Solution.
3. Designing an efficient algorithm simulating the solution.
4. Check if you can modularise your algorithm. That later on helps in unit testing the code.
5. Code the algo complying with 'company standard coding styles'.
6. Unit Test the code.
7. Integration Test the code.
8. Check for sonar cube issues if any.

Important Tip: Learn about breakpoints and how to debug in to be able to test the control flows and identify if there are any errors?

Note: If you complete your coding efficiently in time, you will still have plenty of time to attend your girl.😉

If you have just started to learn coding or if you are switching your job profile from Support to Dev, then it's just the static friction that you will face in the beginning. There will be challenges that you will face while coding even the simplest of the code. But in that patience and perseverance, comes the strength.

Keep coding. If you go to gym everyday and start comparing yourself before and after workout on daily basis, you will hardly see any difference but with time only, you understand how far you have come and strengthened your body. Same goes for coding skills.

Hope this motivates you in your coding journey. The initial path may seem difficult, but trust me the afterwards journey is really beautiful.
