Executive Chef Job is to strive to develop, share, and implement new thoughts, ideas, and methods that improve our company, our operations, and the guest and associate experience. Creating creative menus to enhance quality, consistency, and concept; Partnering with food and beverage, sales and event teams to ensure guest culinary expectations are met. It’s all about the efforts to enhance the guest experience by serving them fantastic food.
• Responsible for the supervision of all employees in the kitchen operations including Sous Chef, CDP, Commis, stewarding staff, and Storeroom/Receiving staff.
• Supervises food production, quality, quantity, cost and daily menu.
• Responsible for preparation of the Restaurant and Banquet menus in coordination with the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
• Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs.
• Supervise kitchen staff's activities.
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
• Rectify arising problems or complaints
• Give prepared plates the “final touch”
• Perform administrative duties
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Keep time and payroll records
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
