*Plant Maintenance for all Mechanical and Instrumentations* including Breakdown and Preventive Maintenance. Resposnible for keeping the uptime of equipment high. Control Power costs for the facility.

*Plant and Equipment Maintenance*
Ensure timely maintenance of Mechcial equipment / Instrument systems in the Plant
Ensure compliance to all *Safety Permit* requirement for all activities carried out by Engg.
Analyse all breakdowns and take Corrective and Preventive actions
Monitor compliance to planned actions
Define Critical Spares and Consumables and develop and implement systems to enable inventories in Engg Stores.

*Improve Operating Efficiencies*
Monitor and improve Uptime of Equipments

*NATURE AND SCOPE*

The incumbent is responsible for carrying out Maintenance for all Mechanical installations in the Plant and all Instrument systems and have basic knowledge on Electrical engg maintenance He shall coordinate with contractors to get the alloted jobs completed safely. He is reponsible to ensure all Safety procedures while carryoing out Engineering activities. He shall ensure all actions towards meeting statutory compliances from Engineering perspective are met – incl. those requirement under Electricity Rules. Support training and development of his subordinates Develop guidelines for Good Engineering practices Shall monitor and take control actions to improve Power consumption for the facility. Develop and implement Inspection procedures for all Electrical installations incl. Transformer, DG, PCC, MSS, Earth Pits, Continuity strips etc. Need to interact with government agencies viz. CEIG, Electricity Board officials etc. to support statutory approvals and service support to the Plant.

*Requires*

An Mechnical Engineer from a reputed university, with more than *3 years experience in industry managing Plant maintenance. Should carry good hands on knowledge of basic Mechnical equipments viz Bulk tanks, mixers, compressor, nitrogen plant, spray booth, MHE handling etc*. Knowledge on relevant statutory rules. Analytical minded, systematic and with good communication skills and capable of working and leading Cross functional Teams.
