Ketika sebuah proyek dikritik dan kritiknya sulit dibantah, caranya kini bukan menjawab melainkan mencap pengkritiknya “antek asing.” Perdebatan pun berpindah dari isi kritik ke soal kesetiaan.
Padahal, kalau menerima dana asing dianggap berkhianat, siapa penerima terbesarnya? Negara sendiri. Uang asing jadi tanda kenegarawanan saat di atas, tetapi dianggap pengkhianatan saat di bawah.

When a project is criticised and the critique is hard to rebut, the move now is not to answer it is to brand the critic a “foreign proxy.” The debate shifts from the substance of the critique to the question of loyalty.
Yet if accepting foreign funding counts as betrayal, who is the largest recipient? The state itself. Foreign money is read as statesmanship at the top, but as treason at the bottom.

Memperkuat Akses Pembiayaan bagi Petani Kecil

Pada 7 Oktober 2026, CIRCLE Indonesia bersama GIZ SAFE menyelenggarakan kegiatan Diseminasi dan Diskusi “Mengakses Peluang Pembiayaan bagi Petani Kecil untuk Transisi Inklusif menuju Produksi Komoditas Berkelanjutan.”

Transisi menuju produksi komoditas yang lebih berkelanjutan membutuhkan dukungan dan kolaborasi dari berbagai pihak, termasuk dalam membuka peluang pembiayaan bagi petani kecil.

Melalui kolaborasi dengan GIZ SAFE, CIRCLE Indonesia melaksanakan studi dan pendampingan untuk mengeksplorasi peluang pembiayaan, memperkuat kapasitas petani, serta mendukung akses terhadap pembiayaan yang dapat menunjang praktik produksi berkelanjutan.

Kegiatan diseminasi dan diskusi ini menjadi ruang untuk berbagi pembelajaran, bertukar perspektif, serta memperkuat dialog antarpemangku kepentingan dalam mendorong akses pembiayaan yang lebih inklusif bagi petani kecil.

CIRCLE Indonesia menyampaikan apresiasi kepada GIZ SAFE, para petani dan organisasi petani, pemerintah, lembaga pembiayaan, sektor swasta, mitra pembangunan, serta seluruh pihak yang telah berkontribusi dalam proses ini.

Bersama, kita terus mendorong akses pembiayaan yang lebih inklusif untuk mendukung masa depan produksi komoditas yang berkelanjutan.

Bagi CIRCLE Indonesia, menjadi anggota koperasi bukan sekadar menjadi bagian dari organisasi, tetapi juga tentang belajar bersama, berbagi pengetahuan, dan tumbuh bersama.

Melalui Sinaubareng yang dipadukan dengan Guyub Arisan, kami menghadirkan ruang belajar setiap tiga bulan sekali untuk memperkuat komitmen anggota terhadap isu-isu strategis, salah satunya sustainability melalui praktik ekonomi sirkuler.

We are pleased to welcome Retno Agustin as CIRCLE Indonesia’s new Executive Director for the 2026–2029 term.

As we enter this new chapter, we build on the knowledge, experience, relationships, and collective work that have shaped CIRCLE over the years.

CIRCLE Indonesia kembali berkolaborasi dengan SINAU GIS dalam kegiatan Penguatan Kapasitas SDM Bidang Pemetaan Kabupaten Mimika, yang berlangsung pada 29 Juni–4 Juli 2026 di Yogyakarta.
Sebagai kelanjutan dari pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan pada tahun 2025, kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya penguatan kapasitas berkelanjutan bagi peserta dalam pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG).
Pada pelatihan kali ini, peserta memperdalam keterampilan dalam pengelolaan data geospasial, analisis spasial, integrasi data survei lapangan, pengenalan WebGIS, serta visualisasi peta. Di sesi akhir, peserta menyusun layout peta sebagai bagian dari penilaian pelatihan.

Kegiatan ditutup dengan pemberian sertifikat, penyerahan apresiasi kepada peserta dengan hasil terbaik, serta sambutan penutupan.
Selamat kepada seluruh peserta. Semoga keterampilan yang diperoleh dapat terus mendukung pengelolaan data geospasial dan perencanaan berbasis data di Kabupaten Mimika.

Through its collaboration with GIZ, CIRCLE Indonesia supported a series of capacity building activities in East Kutai strengthen the integration of Sustainable Landscape Approach (SLA) principles into regional planning and budgeting. As a part of the Public Finance Management component of the Sustainable Landscape Initiative in Kutai Timur (SUSTAIN Kutim), the activities brought together legislators, government agencies, civil society organizations, private sector actors, and development partners through workshops, dialogues, and technical training sessions that fostered learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange for more integrated and sustainable development. We extend our appreciation to all participants and partners who contributed to these collaborative efforts.

SUSTAIN Kutim is a multi-actor initiative to strengthen the capacity of the East Kutai District Government, local communities, smallholders, workers, and plantation companies in transforming East Kutai to be a sustainable region in agriculture production, with specific focus on palm oil and natural rubber. The initiative is supported and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
