Kenapa CEO sering salah rekrut untuk posisi kritis? 🤔

Setelah 20+ tahun mendampingi proses executive search, saya lihat pola yang sama terus berulang:

❌ Terburu-buru isi posisi kosong
❌ Menilai kandidat hanya dari CV & interview standar
❌ Tidak memahami pasar untuk posisi tersebut

Masalahnya bukan dimulai saat offer diberikan — tapi jauh sebelum itu, saat hiring mulai dilakukan dalam tekanan. Semakin lama kursi kosong, semakin besar dorongan untuk “yang penting cepat dapat orang.” Dan di titik itulah standar evaluasi mulai turun.

Hasilnya? Kandidat yang terlihat bagus di CV, tapi:
→ tidak sesuai kebutuhan bisnis
→ gaya kepemimpinannya tidak cocok dengan tim
→ secara teknis kuat, tapi tidak menjawab ekspektasi

Yang paling berbahaya: dampaknya jarang terlihat di minggu pertama. Baru terasa beberapa bulan kemudian — saat kerugiannya sudah jauh lebih besar.

Insight pentingnya: Qualified belum tentu right fit.

Right fit = kompeten, relevan, dan selaras dengan arah bisnis perusahaan. Bukan sekadar pengalaman atau CV bagus.

Pertanyaan yang harus dijawab sejak awal: masalah bisnis apa yang sebenarnya harus diselesaikan oleh orang di posisi ini?
