PENGUMUMAN | ANNOUNCEMENT
Pada 29 September 2025, Departemen Ketenagakerjaan Hong Kong secara resmi mengumumkan kenaikan upah bulanan minimum pekerja domestik asing dari HKD 4.990 menjadi HKD 5.100. Uang pengganti makan bulanan tetap sejumlah minimal HKD 1.236.
Kebijakan ini diberlakukan untuk kontrak kerja pekerja domestik asing yang ditandatangani pada atau sesudah 30 September 2025.
Kebijakan ini diikuti oleh periode transisi selama 4 (empat) pekan dimana Departemen Imigrasi Hong Kong tetap akan memproses kontrak kerja dengan upah bulanan minimum sebesar HKD 4.990 selama kontrak kerja tersebut ditandatangani pada atau sebelum 29 September 2025, dan diterima oleh Departmen Imigrasi Hong Kong pada atau sebelum 27 Oktober 2025.
On 29 September 2025, Hong Kong’s Labour Department has officially announced an increase of Minimum Allowable Wage (MAW) for Foreign Domestic Helpers from HKD 4.990 to HKD 5.100 per month. Food allowance in lieu of free food will remain at no less than HKD 1.236 per month.
This change will apply to all FDH employment contracts signed on or after 30 September 2025.
There will be a 4 (four) weeks transitional period where the Hong Kong Immigration Department will still process FDH employment contracts signed with the previous MAW, provided they were signed on or before 29 September 2025 and the applications reach Hong Kong Immigration Department on or before 27 October 2025.
