The team is now seeking an experienced Japanese Chef who is passionate about authenticity, precision, and creativity, someone eager to help shape a standout culinary destination from the very beginning.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Help develop and craft a unique Izakaya-style menu
✅ Prepare authentic Japanese dishes using traditional techniques
✅ Train and support local chefs in Japanese food preparation methods
✅ Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
✅ Coordinate kitchen operations and food orders efficiently
✅ Monitor ingredient freshness and kitchen inventory levels
✅ Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
✅ Deliver an exceptional guest dining experience in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
✅ Strong expertise in Japanese cuisine including yakitori, gyoza, sashimi, and dashi
✅ Previous menu development experience is essential
✅ Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
✅ Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
✅ Kitchen-level English communication skills
