in collaboration with Business Analytics Chair at the University of Cologne, we are conducting a research study aimed at people who are currently working or are planning to work as a crew member in the yachting industry. Data will be treated confidential and analyzed anonymously.

We are looking forward to your participation in our study and would like to thank you for your effort with a prize to a randomly chosen participant. As a thank you for your effort in properly completing the survey, we will fund a yachting course at Galileo Maritime Academy in Phuket, Thailand for one of the participants.

How can you participate?

Responsibilities:

-Safe navigation and operation of the yacht
-Managing money and accounting on board
-Leadership: supervise staff members and delegate tasks to employees
-Overseeing the upkeep of the vessel
-Taking control of repairs and yard visits
-Assuming the role of ‘host’ and entertaining when necessary
-Must be familiar with overall safety codes and the safety training of crew
-Familiar with issuing standing orders and budget management at all levels.
-Manage refit projects of luxury yachts
