How to write a resume?
1. Choose a resume format
- Make sure that it can help employers to know about your in a minute
2. Add your full name and contact information
-Phone number
-Email Address
-Location (for people who live in Hong Kong)
(if you are looking for local jobs you don’t need to put your home address in your resume)
3. Add your professional resume summary statement
(If you don’t have much job experience, you can expand your work history section.)
4. Detail your work experience, let employers know what you have done in your past jobs
-Company
-Job title
-Start and end dates
-Job Responsibilities
-Competencies in previous positions
5. List relevant skills and keywords
-E.g. Accounting, PS, Marketing
-The more role-specific keywords, the better optimize your resume is.
6. Add your education and any other relevant information
-Job-relevant learning experience
-Highest education information if you are an associate degree/ high diploma or below
-If you are a bachelor's degree or above, list it as a bachelor's degree(associate degree or high diploma if yes). But put your highest education information on the top of this part
7. Perfect your grammar and formatting
-Double-check your resume
-Wrong grammar and formatting can leave a bad impression
