Women In Cocoa Women in Cocoa, is an initiative to empower women involved in cocoa production in Ghana to become more useful than just ordinary source of cheap labour.

We believe that everyone has a rightto live in a fair and a just world. Everyone has the right to receive the full reward of their labour. We believe that every worker deserves to have a sustainable livelihood, to have an identity, to be heard and have access to basic social services
We believe that women must be recognized as partners in development and given the necessary opportunities in promot

ing sustainable development. We believe that women are stronger influencers when empowered to bring about a desired change
Women and girlsare the most affected by shocks in society and must be prepared adequately to be resilient in events of unexpected adversities
Men alone can never optimize the productivity of an economy
