16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign that runs from November 25 which is "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women" to December 10 which is "International Human Rights Day".

This campaign aims to raise awareness about gender_based violence, promote action that prevents and eliminate violence against women and girls and also supports survivors of gender based violence.

This year of 2025, the 16 Days of Activism centreson "UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls focusing on addressing online abuse and harassment.

AYEI has been undergoing series of transformation in it's operations and activities to suit fast changing environments and world issues in regards to youth's role to be changer makers ,especially in the agriculture sector
AYEI-Burundi hosted the founding members of the organization delegation headed by its CEO
It was a moment of recalibrating the focus of the organization in Burundi, moments of experiences sharing and rebranding , moments of taking decisions for a way forward
Present was Chinasa Ude Imo currently residing in the USA and Mr Diego N. ,from Canada currently living in New York and Fulgence from Ghana ( AYEI Headquarters)
Kudos to Mujojoma Diomede and Ntakarutimana Salvator heading the operations of AYEI in Burundi
