🏉 A huge win at Sandy Park! 🔥

Exeter Chiefs Officialsecured their first Gallagher PREM win of the season with a thrilling 34–28 victory over Newcastle Red Bulls

Ross Vintcent got things going with two early tries, with Henry Slade and Sam Harris also crossing the line. Newcastle fought back hard, with Christian Wade scoring a hat-trick, but the Chiefs had the final say as Bachuki Tchumbadze powered over in the 76th minute to seal the win.

A proper battle right to the final whistle! 💪

🏉 A pretty special training session at RFC

Imagine being a young rugby player and getting the chance to learn from an Exeter Chiefs Official and England Rugby player.

That's exactly what the boys at Withycombe RFC got to do recently, as Greg Fisilau joined them for a training session — and we were delighted to help make it happen.

As Backline sponsors both Withycombe RFC boys team and Greg, it felt like a great opportunity to bring the two together. But more than that, it's about giving young players the chance to learn from someone who's playing at the highest level, build their confidence and get even more excited about the game they love.

You never know what a moment like that might inspire. And if a few of those boys went home buzzing about rugby, feeling more confident or dreaming a little bigger, then that's what it's all about.

We're lucky to be part of a brilliant local rugby community, and we're looking forward to seeing these lads out on the pitch in their Backline shorts! 💚

🏉 WEST COUNTRY DERBY | UNDER THE LIGHTS 🏉

Friday night rugby. A West Country derby. Under the lights. 💚🖤

The Chiefs headed to The Rec ready for another huge battle with Bath, following a performance last time out that showed exactly what this team is made of.

Despite going into half-time 26–10 down, Exeter Chiefs produced a brilliant second-half fightback to lead 33–31, with tries from Immanuel Feyi-Waboso (2), Stephen Varney, Jack Yeandle and Josh Iosefa-Scott.

The Chiefs ultimately fell just short 40–34, but the character, attacking intent and never-say-die attitude were there for all to see. 👊
